Upcoming AC Pass Month

Given that October seems intent on kicking everyone's asses this year, we're making it an AC Pass Month.

How that works, for new players: If you don't make AC, you can post to the Standard AC toplevel with 'PASS' instead of 'hiatus.' For record-keeping purposes, it'll count as though you submitted standard AC, and we'll all go on our merry way! If you do make Standard or Skill AC, you can bank the pass for another month when you might need it. You get one pass per character, per the occasional month we do these, and you can (and some people have) bank all of them.

We're still discussing how that works in relation to the 'hey it's my first jaunt' Standard AC skills, but we at least wanted to give people a heads-up that the pass system will be in effect this month. May November be somewhat kinder to us all!
