Hello all! This is Athy bringing in an original character of mine. His name is Faed, he's a four armed bug man from space. He's a good guy, but definitely rough around the edges.

His day job is that of a bounty hunter/smuggler/vigilante, a fuck-the-law sort of fellow. He is actually a talented engineer who BUILDS ALL THE THINGS, including his ship, his armor, and all his robots, all of whom he likes better than most people. If he didn't build it, he doesn't trust it.

With him he has his oldest friend, a robot he'd build out of the skeleton of a dead alien rat.

He's also immortal because shenanigans.

For the interested, there's a ton of info in his journal. He will probably be crashing the masquerade in full armor soon. Have fun trying to get him take his helmet off!

Nerdo here with his second character in a row and if I have any sort of impulse control, my last one in Syn for a while. This time I bring an addition to the Persona 4 pile, in the form of Rise Kujikawa, the once and future pop idol who is definitely not just an urban fantasy cartoon version of her voice actress.

Rise's from the very beginning of Dancing All Night, the last spinoff in the Persona 4 canon, so she's a bit ahead of her castmates in the "real world" and a bit more mature and together than she was in the original. A bit. Mostly she's here to be cheerful, supportive, and pick up on psychic bullcrap a lot faster than she picks up on, say, school.

She'll be making a confused cameo in the winter ball mingle and joining in with things in earnest in the next one. Looking forward to playing with you guys some more.

So hey, Airdra here, bringing you my third and final character because apparently playing Hajime and Zed just wasn't enough. So here's Julian Thibault, an OC from the New World of Darkness's Changeling: the Lost. To make a long story short, Jules was kidnapped by the True Fae to become an unwilling servant in the land of Arcadia. He eventually managed to escape back to the mortal world albeit changed into a Darkling, namely a Lurkglider--which is just a fancy way of saying he's pretty much a gargoyle. He's purple, he's got horns, he's got a forked tail, he's got wings, doesn't really like direct sunlight, all that sort of thing.

Only it's not immediately visible that he's no longer fully human, thanks to a magical Mask that's got him covered. The Mask is pretty thorough and keeps him looking fully human 99% of the time, but magic users are free to pick up on something weird about him. It's also entirely possible for certain groups to get glimpses through the Mask, and under the current circumstances, children or drunkards (it says under the full moon, but I figure Liminal Space is weird enough to count) would probably be the likeliest groups to pop up among the current characters. (Or is anyone the seventh son of a seventh son? Have two different colored eyes?) So if your character falls into one of those groups and wants to catch a glimpse of something very much not human, just let me know.

He's a coward who is prone to complaining about and overreacting to everything, and I'm really looking forward to throwing him at everyone. (So sorry.) I plan on throwing him at the masquerade shortly after posting this, because he's been through this whole unwilling magical kidnapping thing before, and it wasn't good, so he's got some freaking out to do.

Have a Star Wars. But not... that one

In a move that probably surprises absolutely no one, this is Yubsie (Wash's player) bringing in a second character. I am bringing you Jaina Solo of the old Star Wars Legends continuity from before all the nonsense that continuity put her through when she was older. Yes, I'm bringing in a Legends character right after TFA came out. CAN'T BE TAMED.

Jaina's the eldest (by five whole minutes) child of Han Solo and Leia Organa. She's almost fifteen and training under her Uncle Luke to be a Jedi Knight. She has a lightsaber and everything. Which is violet because EU Jedi got to have interesting colours.

Jaina is happiest when she's up to her ears in machinery or flying something. Her mother is so unreasonable and says that she can't have her own spaceship until she's sixteen, but she manages to get around that by finding any excuse possible to fly other ships. So how convenient there's that space jaunt coming up, eh?

Greetings, Syn! Thanks to the persistent enabling of a few of you shady characters, I'm Wyn (minor_ramblings) and I come bearing another shady character: Zevran Arainai, an elven assassin from the Dragon Age games.

I'm taking Zevran from post-DA2 and pre-DA:I, but the sheer number of inquisitors currently hanging out in my save game data says that you're A-OK to spoil me on anything past his canon point.

Syn's premise is one that's always struck me as intriguing, so I'm glad to finally be here! Feel free to hit me up on Plurk for plotting purposes, or just to be sociable.
