Faction Sign-ups and Plotting!

powersthatbeThis post is for assigning your character to a particular faction and for plotting now that the CBI Outbreak has officially occurred. Assume that your character miraculously knows about the factions and what they do, this knowledge likely given to them by the Trumps so that they wouldn't give themselves away immediately. Anyone can be a relatively normal citizen in Boston, where Infiltrators and Boston NPCs will remember you as having been there for at least a couple of years. The links below are for specific faction roll-call, plotting, and the like, with a general plotting thread for everything else! Please make note if you are Infiltrating or Investigating!
FIREFLIES
The Fireflies are a revolutionary group that means to overthrow the martial law imposed by the Military (under FEDRA), while looking for a cure for CBI. They often engage in guerilla warfare outside the Zones and try to start riots in the Zones, and are frequently under attack by military officers. They are considered criminals and are usually shot on sight if spotted.
MILITARY
The Military are the governing body of the United States after the CBI outbreak, and impose a strict martial law in all Quarantine Zones. They supply rations and toiletries to all civilians, regulate traffic into and out of the Zone, frequently check condemned and abandoned buildings for squatters and smugglers, and impose a strict curfew on the city.
SMUGGLERS
Smugglers are exactly that - they smuggle individuals and goods into and out of the city, using ration cards as an illicit form of payment. If you need anything, the Smugglers can generally get it for you or point you to someone who can. They often get people into the city who do not have proper identification, forge identities for these people, make supply runs, and smuggle guns and weapons as well as pills of various sorts into the Zones.
CITIZENS
Citizens are the "default state" for Investigators - if you do not want to be involved in any of the factions, this is the faction for you. They live and work in the city, usually working as medics, teachers, and other practical professions for citizens and factions alike. They are very often recruited to Military service on shifts that can last anywhere from six months to a few years.
