A quick post about AC.

More or less this same thing has just been said on plurk, but in case anyone is following the comm and not mymod plurk accounts - we've noted some concerns about our AC requirements on rpanons, & we want to get out ahead of this and address it before people got too worried.
If you don't make AC this month, don't sweat it. Just report hiatus & we'll see how next month goes! If next month it's still tough for a large percentage of the game to make AC, the requirements will be shifted down a little, but we don't want to make that change after a single month because it's too early to tell a good baseline from a fluke, either high or low.
Players will be in the loop and in the decision no matter what, too. The mods are not going to be an voice of authority proclaiming an arbitrary standard - we want to find out what works best for everyone while still moving the action along at pace, & we'll do that together. Nobody's getting drummed out in the first 60 days of the game for being a few comments shy, although obviously we do still expect everyone to do their best to make AC within the constraints of time, energy, & real life.
The AC check-in will go up on the 24th, & be open through the end of the month for everyone to report. So there's definitely still time for everyone!
