Fennel would probably be all about helping both Valerian and Taurina. For the former he's got the whole botched love-Deal to work with, and the latter...well. He has Business and a Quest and the computer lab is likely a safe place for RAs to discuss rescue missions.
Yes to both these things, while Valerian insists she's fine and Taurina gets mildly headachey when around computers for too long but pushes through because this is the only place that's safe.
