Elsewhere University Jaunt Info

The University was founded on ordinary, flat ground in the late 1800s in the country of New England. No one knows its original name. The fairy hill came later, around the 1920s. For the unknowing, Elsewhere University--EU or Elsewhere U for short--is a typical school, albeit with a few quirks. Iron washers on strings are given to all the freshmen. Green is noted as bad luck, but it's still the school colors (although the actual shades change frequently). Everyone must go by false names and never, ever say their true names. Ever.
About a third of the campus knows of the Gentry, the Fair Folk, the Good Neighbors, the Lords and Ladies. Call them what you will, call them even by your own culture's name for beings like them, for that is how they may appear to you, but always with reverence. Hailing from a magical world dubbed the Elsewhere, Fae come in all shapes, sizes, and scuttles of life.
A human may be unexpectedly swapped with a Changeling Fae. It happens. The Treaty says no severe harm shall come to or from the Changeling, and that the Taken human may be retrieved at the end of the semester. However, human, Fae, and Other will be caught up in a potentially disastrous Changeling exchange that will lead to an emergency rescue mission in the Elsewhere. Those on both sides of the divide will be tasked with helping one another with wit, bravery, knowledge, diplomacy, and of course, Deals.

Assuming once he was over there, the bond he has with Hajime would help him find him, yeah? He's not gonna think to ask anyone, so he'll just be using the Searcher to try and find Sayoko, which I assume will take him at least a week or longer?
...also, how would anything over there react to a centaur or a flying suit of armor?
no subject
Ah yes, the bond would function normally once he's crossed over. It may fluctuate if distance is a factor, as the twisted space of Elsewhere fluctuates. And yeah, have it take that long to find Sayoko. Getting out of the Elsewhere may take a few additional days on foot.
Um, what is he doing about food? Hammerspace?
Centaurs are par the course for Weird Shit in the Elsewhere. If the armor is pure iron, not a good reaction. Otherwise, doesn't matter as long as it's not attacking. Sometimes humans cross over to retrieve someone. It's entertaining. As for the Fae who did the Taking, their reaction depends on their personality.

The armor is... I'm not even sure, honestly. It's created by the Rider System using the energy of sealed Undead and looks like leather and some sort of metal, but what kind of metal is anyone's guess and it's all just solidified energy and technobale.
Flying using it goes pretty fast, and centaur form also has some good speed to it (giant horse and all that) so after the finding part, it should be relatively swift for the exit. Just the actual finding part that'll take forever

Which brings a different question: What happens to their changeling counterparts?

Most changelings leave when politely asked. Even more convincing are their human counterparts. As soon as they find out their humans are back, they’ll go home. GG y’all
