Shinji will be investigating. I want him to pick up Immortali Sorcery at some point, and will be looking for good angles to that end. Not sure if Koromaru will come along or decide it's too hot and camp out in Liminal.
Claudia will be infiltrating, probably as a Sithen. Still working out details on that end.
Naoki is a tad more complicated. He'll be revisiting his overlay from last time, an Immortali bar owner with his fingers in about every pie available to Melasurei. He's somewhat less well-connected in the Market, but his establishment still has a reputation for neutrality, as well as very good drinks.
Naoki's also going to memory-autorestore about five minutes into the jaunt, because 'returning to Purgatory' is absolutely a contingency he'd set for that. He's one of a relatively small handful of Travelers who actually knows what happened at the end of the last jaunt, and parts of the Peregrines' new lot are exactly what he was afraid would happen so he's not going to be terribly happy about it - but this is what they have to work with now, so he will.
It wasn't long before the Divine needed an Angel of Mysteries. Claudia's Task automatically informed her of people's secrets, and she was expected to report secrets of a particularly dangerous nature to the Divine so they could be dealt with accordingly. She was, therefore, one of the first to know the demonic rebellion was happening.
She chose not to report it.
Claudia no longer automatically learns people's secrets; Sithen don't have Tasks (and OOCly that would be way more work than fun). She does, however, trade in their safekeeping. Her land holding is somewhere between the market and Golganova, where no one would really think to look for it, and she stores records and physical secrets there. She spends more time at the market than not.
You have two characters Beatrice will be hitting up for gossip/information. Although she's just as likely to eavesdrop on other people in Yomi than ask Naoki directly. Does Claudia barter only in secrets, or would she accept other payment in exchange for some?
Okay but what about a cordial friendship between Anaphiel and Naoki? He'll have needed somewhere to crash before he got the site for the new branch of Yomi and Anaphiel is also into the neutrality thing.
Sahaquiel probably dropped by Yomi to have a drink and catch up on local gossip on the rare occasions she visited Melasurei, and will probably continue that habit at the new satellite location.
