Madoka is Infiltrating as a stonefolk magic expert, Isla Deepcavern - one experimenting with cures for the Stone Curse. Among other things, this is because she suffers from a version of it that even persists in the darkness, one that took her knees and is creeping up her legs: she's not very happy that she can't parkour anymore, and so instead she makes an intellectual study of magic and cursebreaking.
She is still a memey little funball, however.
(Sara, meanwhile, will catch on to the naming pattern quick and call herself Sara Shetland.)
