State of the Game Follow-Up.
I. Walkabouts & Taught Skills
There was a lot of great discussion on the issues with the current system and various suggestions about how me might make changes - but not, as yet, any single, unifying vision of what changes would work best. We're going to keep working, both as a mod team and in conjunction with the playerbase, to figure out what will work best. If you have more to say, you can still add to the original discussion, in the comments below, or privately to the mod email. We'll figure this out, it's just going to take some finagling.
II. Page Updates
The mod team has worked out a schedule for updating rules pages between now and Phase III.
First, we have updated the Acquired Skills page effective immediately, & when AC goes live next week, all reporting will be streamlined to a single page, with players only needing to make a single comment that will account for both AC & Skill Gain.
Second, a series of out-of-date or unclear pages will be updated between now and roughly sometime in September. These updates will include:
-a Suggested Destinations page that incorporates suggestions for Jaunt Revisits
-a comprehensive update to our page explaining dungeons & other Liminal Space phenomena
-a clarified page on our Idle Policy
-an update to the Acquired Skills page that provides a number of skill tracking resources to players
-links to any presently orphaned or disused pages (like our page on Trump/Familiar Face Speculation
-a Skills Page update with all Liminal, Telepathic, & Combo Skills included & a clarified description of the Liminal Manipulation skill
-a full rewrite & mobile-friendly reformatting of the FAQ.
Third, we'll be updating several pages with new information for Phase III. These new pages will be rolled out all at once, sometime in November. They will include:
-Favor/Mark Info, Mark Skills, & a Mark Directory
-A new IC Intro
-A Metaplot speculation/arc tracking page
-an updated Application page, with more info on Marks & Veteran Apps
-A Glossary
We'll especially need player input on what terms and definitions are needed in the Glossary, because the current glossary predates the actual launch of the game.
III. Other Business
Later tonight or tomorrow, we'll have the flashback details on the Kau Lung Incident for pre-Moebius Veterans. Sometime in the next two weeks, we'll have voting on the next Jaunt, with room for more Walkabout discussion at that time. And if we forgot to deal with any existing concerns from this latest SOTG or before, please let us know under the appropriate header below or via email. Thanks for all you do!

Re: II.
-It was unclear (except in AC posts which tend to get buried) which skill gains do or don't require "proofs".
-Skills a character entered the game with need to be clarified as... idk, "teachable skills"? "past jaunt skills"? something in that vein. I had to ask if they were teachable lol.
-I've seen players call Liminal, Psychic, and Combo Skills "Tree Skills". I don't know if this is official, but yes, there should be a collective name for these standard skills, because typing them all out gets old fast.
-Some sort of How to Do Dungeons explanation, even if it's just links to some good examples.
-Possibly a link to the game's Discord chat?
