Hello! I'm Bramble, and I'm new here. You can find me over at bramblepatch if you want to chat.

I'm bringing in Lydain Pelkys, an original character from my overly-ambitious and indefinitely-hiatused Gamzee-centric Homestuck fanfiction, Miracle Child. For those of you who were not in the "far too many feelings about horrible troll clowns" corner of the Homestuck fandom a few years back, she comes from an AU where the Alternian species and civilization did not come to an abrupt end on Karkat Vantas's sixth wriggling day, and now everyone has to deal with being a kid and growing up. Specifically, Lydain is one of Gamzee's classmates in the Subjugglator training program.

Lydain's about nineteen years old - not quite nine sweeps, as she'd measure it - and a deeply devout adherent of the Cult of the Mirthful Messiahs, because among trolls the circus is literally a doomsday cult. She's cheerful, playful, and ever so casually bloodthirsty. I'm sure you'll all get along fine.

And yes, you should! They are awesome books (although admittedly ones that not everyone can get into - they're a bit love-it-or-hate-it, I think). If you need it, I can share ebook copies for them.

Ah, the joy of obscure canons. No one's heard of it and if you're lucky you hear rumors of someone who once played a canonmate in a game that ended two years ago or something.

I'd love it if you could kick the e-books my way, that'd be great.

I have been lucky enough to have castmates for some of them in the past actually (although usually, someone else had apped first and then I went YES I NEED IN ON THIS XD)
