At player request, we're tossing up this post so there will be a single place for everyone to post and discuss their mingle plans, more easy to reference than plotting on plurk.

Chouko is part of Leon's escort. Her number one goal is to get the guy who Frankensteined her to safety as payback for her new lease on life, then to see her brother again, then to maybe find Nori? (Except Prince Yi will probably find Nori first.)

Byerly meanwhile has gotten embroiled into some plan of the Wolf's to catch Captain Phoenix which involves him pretending to be a woman. Yeah. That is certainly a thing all right.

There will be an update to this after Certain Thing Happen.

okay i suppose i should mention now that once chouko is reunited with her people, thorne is going to run off to a) help with the bomb squad and b) try to see if she can meet herr doktor blitzkopf

there will be invisible flying around and lots of snacking on NPCs to fuel the invisibility (although no draining anyone dry because nope, nope, nope)

Malik's going sparrow a good portion of the time, and will be willing to help find bombs!

He's still not fully functional physically because Istas but he's a stubborn idiot who ignores these things when he thinks its needed.

Noriko and Helena

Noriko is currently having a massive panic attack, and will be found by Narukami. Beyond that, things are still in the air.

Helena, on the other hand, is going to be helping anyone defuse bombs if she can.

Toshi

Will be guarding Narukami or Leon by turns, and also wishing he had more people under his command to do actual crowd control.

I'm very open to him getting involved in other things, because bodyguarding isn't actually that interesting to write.

Naoki is looking to get involved in chasing Phoenix down. Her own damn fault for not specifying how she wants to leave the city, and he figures (hopes) Yua will forgive him later.

Kaori is helping disarm bombs and clear debris until the Wolves get back to her with word about her brother, as disarming is an easier project to drop out of at a moment's notice than a manhunt.

Aleksandr "Aleksi" Delov - Prusso-Zaporizhian Empire

Aleksi is helping Riddick kidnap Vilari and get her and her family out of the city to safety, but he himself is staying.

He's more interested in helping clear debris and organizing search and rescue teams than in actively hunting either fugitive himself, but is going to be sticking close to the Prussian yacht. He'll be helping with bomb finding and disposal and trying to keep the yacht from exploding or being stolen.

It's a kinda spur of the moment thing.

It'll involve a couple animals, a bomb and some empty clothes.

Perfect. Sounds good to me! He can definitely help get a bomb and set up faux bodies and things. He'll definitely want to see if he can get something out of Malik about his involvement though. Sorry about that.

So how would we like to go about this? Do you have a toplevel or should I make one?

Okay the big thing, is that Wolf has been planning a trap to capture Phoenix. Byerly will be playing the part of "fake Phoenix" to get the real one to appear, and there will be Empire and Caliphate soldiers ready and waiting to swarm out and attack (so anyone affiliated with them can jump in!).

And when that fails (Wolf expects it to fail, and it should, for reasons) Wolf has arranged a second secret trap of his own people and allies (ask if you'd like to be involved!).

It's going to fail due to accidental or intentional interference because Sarkar's shop needs to get burnt down so anyone, so investigator or infiltrator (we have one investigator, Zed, already slated to help with that) who wants in to screw things up also has an option.

After that, a new alias Moyo will be making an appearance to help with the bombs and things!

Anyone who wants to be involved with any part of this, hit me up here or on plurk and we'll figure out how to include you!

The Mantis will be trying to help clear debris and disarm bombs up until the point he takes part in the Wolf's plan to capture Phoenix. He is also quietly angsting over wanting to get out of the city himself, mostly because he made a promise and also because he's got a family to find. But for now, he's got to worry about everyone else.

Zed will continue to be mostly completely useless, as he is very good at that sort of thing. His uselessness should become usefulness when he blunders into part of the Wolf's plan to capture Phoenix, which calls for someone somewhere to screw up a thing, and he's really good at that.

Raidou/Kumiho is being reunited with his sister at some point, and possibly taking part in the Wolf's hunt for Phoenix. Beyond that, I don't know. Fights? Spying?

Cassandra was last on the Seventh Sky; I am not sure if she's still there or not. Defusing bombs is unfortunately something she knows absolutely nothing about, so she can't really help out on that score, either.

She has picked up a monodrone that totally does not symbolize her dead friend, honest that can detect weirding phonographs, trackers, and the like, so if anyone wants to trigger that, that could be fun and probably cause her to burst into tears afterwards again, but honestly she probably needs that.

Minako/Aisha would just be happy to watch Phoenix burn up in her own napalm at this point, religious principles or no. She's tired, and she hasn't been home in over a year because she's been chasing her all over the damned place, and this little display of hers is pretty much the last straw.

I'm also trying to figure out just how much she might have heard/found out about the Investigators, because they would have kept cropping up in the course of her investigations and she'd want to know if they were going to be a threat to her mission, but I've been having trouble with her voice this Jaunt so it's probably a bit late to play anything out to that effect.

If you want to say Cassandra stuck around the Seventh Sky ostensibly to learn the ropes or whatever, that's cool with me.

Sabetha/Nergui will be attempting to get a message to Phoenix, offering her a way out of the city in hopes of still having a city to make port in at a later date. With or without mad bomber in tow, she'll be getting the hell out near the end of the week, pursuit optional.

Unlike during the storm, she won't be taking on passengers without a very compelling reason, in the interest of minimizing hostages if she does manage to make contact with Phoenix.

Liara will be joining in the rescue/bomb defusing efforts. She may potentially wind up revealing herself as one of those weird foreigners with freaky abilities if things go sideways, because being able to telekinetically block debris is useful.

Skimming the threads so far, I'm seeing:
- Bomb disarmed by Kaori and Rivaille
- Bomb found, relocated and detonated in Valeriya's cafe (I think?)
- Bomb disarmed by Erdogan

Plus the original two detonated, of course.
