Pearl and Melissa will both be Investigating- neither have much planned at the moment, but Pearl will probably be incredibly invested in what's going on since spirits are kind of her thing. She will probably get possessed if the option is offered to me tbh.
Phillip will be revisiting his old infiltration- namely, a 10 year old boy who was experiment on by cultists, had his shadow ripped off of him and wrapped around him, was amnesic and always hungry, terrified of light, and survived off of flesh. SO FUN TIMES. I will try not to throw him at people who won't be comfortable with that kind of situation, so please let me know if you do/don't want him tagging you. He will only be around for the first part of the jaunt before he gets pulled back to himself and gets the hell out of dodge.

Matthew will be investigating and he will be a normal investigator, not a ghost. However, since Matthew did take Spirit Summoning and his plot skill from Bando, he is able to see and talk to ghosts. He hates it, but he can do it, and he would grudgingly agree to act as a go between when needed. So, I am definitely up for plotting stuff with any Investighosts or Infilghosts!
Also, at some point, Matthew needs to get possessed. Because obviously nothing can go wrong with the guy who's already sharing his body with a bunch of telephone spirits getting possessed, right? Right.

Gil is Infiltrating as Gerard Rousseau, beleaguered bodyguard to Jules' overlay! He just wants to do his job and keep the son of the huge French business magnate safe, please, Jules, let him do his job.
Kinji, on the other hand, is Kris Thompson, and probably extremely well-known around Harrogate; if not as the boyfriend of the museum curator and incurable town gossip, then as 'that American in the rainbow wardrobe with his blue poodle'. He also runs a YouTube channel that "debunks" haunted objects or locations, but mostly at this point it's a parody of programs that do it seriously. He's almost always somewhere around town helping out, and has lived here for about four years now - the duration of his relationship with Yakumo/Skye. He's a very social fellow, when he's not attached to Skye at the hip. He modtly works at the cafe attached to the museum, but he can be found working in pretty much anywhere that'll pay him cash in hand, and even then sometimes he's just there to help.
I'd be 1000% down for him to have prior Infiltrator CR with anyone who's lived in the town for his time here! At the start of the Jaunt he'll be coming back on the tour bus with the others, having just come back from a week-long visit to America.

Altair: Originally i was going to Investigate, but those plot roles are suuuper tempting. If a good number of players want to Memory Restore their characters, i may Investigate for great justice since that's a pretty rare skill and idk who will be available to do it. Let me know if you are considering having it done and/or if your Investigator can do it so i can make a decision.

I plan for Thorne to take memory restoration in August, so that's one person who's not you who'll be able to do the thing.

Ambrose is going to find out he has Infiltrator Persona via doing a ride-along with one Bruce Marshall of Chicago, a descendant of Matilda Marshall née Laing, younger sister of noted dead innkeeper Ambrose Laing who emigrated from Scotland to America. Bruce is keen on genealogy, and when Ancestry.com gave him a doozy of a leaf on Great-Great Uncle Ambrose he knew he had to go and do more in-depth research for himself. If anyone wants to be a friend/family member/traveling companion, hit me up, or he can be going solo.
Ambrose is of course not happy about any of this. He'll be (hopefully) steering Bruce away from horrible death and madness, but the research interest will make for a decent excuse to do a lot of...research. Right.

If city hall and municipal libraries don't suffice, the offer to come visit St. Bruno's Priory is there. The library is both extensive and specific.
Dakki will be infiltrating! Exactly how is still up in the air. I've put in for a plot role, but if that falls through, I'd like to angle towards making her a resident of the town. Works in the fish and chip shop (family owns it?), young enough that she wants to get out of town and thinks that it completely sucks... just a very average person, mostly? But she'd know the place, as a resident, and could easily give info/get drawn into Horrible Stuff. Anyone want to be friends/family/co-workers/former classmates/something?

hello fellow agent (he is going to be so weirded out when he comes back from being alban british for six weeks)
Beatrice is going to be here and she's going to be Investigating. She's going to spend an inordinate amount of time pestering whoever gets the Museum Curator role because she has very specific tastes but is otherwise going to be playing magical investigator and enjoying it probably too much for anyone else's tastes.
I do have a decision to make that I'd like some advice on. I'd like to investigate Beatrice as a Spirit because spoilers she's not technically exactly alive in canon right now and it's also funnier, but if she's not a Spirit she can both move around easier and use her Blood for the Dead plot skill from Achaia to give ghosts corporeal bodies, and I'm wondering whether we want to have that card to play or not. Even if she is, though, she can still use/teach Heroic Age Necromancy and see if that works on ghosts.
EDIT: Apparently people with Liminal Bridge can cross over from one to the other and Beato should be getting that for this month, so I guess this becomes a question of how to start and this Jaunt is just raining plotting presents on me.

Museum Curator role here and ngl I have been gunning for an excuse for Yakumo to develop some CR with Beatrice ever since I saw her on the Taken list of this game.
Skye (the Infiltration) will be having the museum as a sort of 'open house' in the wake of the funeral, so there should be plenty of opportunity for Beatrice to come and nitpick at his display choices if that's what she's going to be doing! Is there anything in particular you think would make for a good starting point?

Casper will be Investigating, because we need someone who can talk to the dead and also punch ghosts and summon things and basically be a general Ghost Expert Person. He'll probably try to get in as funeral staff somehow initially, but we'll see where it goes. He may end up just plunging headfirst into plot stuff because someone's gotta YOLO when the yoloninjas aren't themselves and generally being ridiculous.

Mikasa is investigating this one because a girl, who monsters have nightmares about and who makes them run away screaming from her in canon should obviously do that. She is gonna have a very fun time while/if/when Eren is not here at first, though Armin is going to help with that a lot, so... At least it won't be as bad as it would be if Armin wasn't around! She'll be functionally sleepless and Eldritch defence was one of the first skills, that she gained after arriving to Syn plus all of her other skills considered, she might be more or less okay here.
Usagi who happens to be in team Strength (though that was on Mikasa's shortlist too hah) is going to be infiltrating at first and I need to think of details for that one still, so those will come later... I will gladly take infiltraring CR for her if anyone wants to do something! Anything. Apparently Minerva is going to be her grandmother or mother. ...but she is also going to get memory restoration from Thorne sometime during the jaunt and then Sailor Moon can possibly throw therapy kisses here.

If you want some infiltrating CR for Usagi... from what I recall, she's a bit of a chatter? So she and Skye would get along perfectly. We can noodle out some background for the two of them if you want?
Madoka will be Investigating and possibly Malik Gambiting as a local expert on Eldritch Shenanigans. She may reference DADA classes. Please hit her up for lessons in Eldritch Defense.
Frederika Bernkastel Rika Furude may be the Evil Spirit. She's going to be a very unhappy Ghostfiltrator in any case and she's probably coming out of this one into a dungeon animated by Studio DEEN. Be very afraid.

Riddick is also investigating. He will probably not be a ghost, because he has at least one person to yank out of infiltrations on their request.
Jolie is infiltrating as an older girl, mid-20s or so, a supernatural hunter. She knows various magics for protection, banishment, and finding shit out with regards to eldritch, spirits, etc. Oh, also, she will be trying to summon something nasty later in the Jaunt with the (slightly insane) intent to kill it. Do you think Jolie would be interested in watching a YouTube channel that goes around exploring haunted houses and cursed objects of wildly dubious claim?
Vilari will be infiltrating as a local coffeeshop owner with a deceased childhood boyfriend whom she's started to see around recently. She'll be a good person to come to for a quick history of the town, both 'real' and 'folkloric', but she'll also be mostly distracted and distressed thanks to the hauntings happening.

Kohaku is going to INVESTIGATING, and will be weirdly motivated to investigate everything going on this time around as an attempt to fight off the feelings of having been worthless for the last two jaunts. Basically I want to get her a chance to be cool, even if in doing so she gets completely in over her head.

Instead of going to a nearby CSU school in this world, she fucked off to Britain about twelve years ago and never looked back. She got her citizenship a couple years ago.
Delaunay is sharing the Queen's Agent plot role with Dakki, under the name of Anton Delaney. (Because nobody is named Anafiel in the 20th/21st century ok ok.) He'll be the senior agent of the two and as far as anyone knows they're Health Inspectors. Really.

Jules is going to be infiltrating as Julien Thibault, heir to the Thibault media empire, which is kind of a big deal in his native France. He is the oblivious rich kid in a horror movie, pretty much. He's got a decent amount of book smarts but is completely and totally lacking in the common sense department, in no small part because Mommy and Daddy have so far been able to buy him out of trouble.
Right now, he's an intrepid reporter for a gossip rag known as La Bouche,, which of course his parents own. He's here covering all that terrible tragedy with Artie Grove and everything else weird that might be going in here...in no small part because it gets him out of his parents' hair for a while.
But he is not alone! He's got a bodyguard in the form of Gil. Surely nothing will go wrong. At least his daughter, Maria, will be safe and sound back in Paris!
Zed is going to be one of the Mad Minionsand I will strive to make him the biggest pain in the ass of them all. At some point in the late 1800s, a surveyor named Zebadiah Black, who worked for the railroad, was injured in a freak accident, and was hit across the head by a steel beam. Miraculously, Zebadiah survived, though he was never the same--he became convinced he was actually an emperor, and he also developed an unhealthy fixation on shiny objects. (His wife, Greta, gamely went along with it, in no small part because the settlement from the train company made them both pretty wealthy, as did the doctors crowding around Zebadiah for a case study...and her husband's unfortunate condition allowed her a certain amount of freedom she would not have had otherwise.) Zebadiah tragically passed away one year to the date of his accident, at which point he stepped onto some train tracks and demanded an oncoming train stop in the name of the Emperor. The train did not respect his sovereign authority, and he was killed instantly.

If Minerva's been a teacher in Harrogate for a long time, Artemis was probably one of her students before she entered the world of on-set tutors. And also could probably have been convinced at one point to give stay-in-school speeches in costume.

Gale - I don't have any real plans for, as of now he's going to be investigating ghostways.
Zaknafein -Dean Winchester Zack is going to be a Supernatural-esque hunter that travels around dealing with eldritch happenings wherever they crop up and is pretty fucked up because of it. Snags a job as a bartender/bouncer every so often when money gets tight. Drinks a bit too much between hunts and doesn't take care of himself all that well; runs on little to no sleep, addicted to coffee, doesn't eat all that healthily.
Ten years ago-ish he rescued/kidnapped a kid out of a shitty eldritch-fueled family situation. He left him with people he trusted, but after a good year or so of the kid continuously trying to run away to find him, finally caved and said the kid could come with him 'for a little while' in the hopes he can convince him to stay put. Years later they're still traveling together and Darius is doing what he can to keep Zack from falling apart completely.

Drizzt is Infiltrating as Darius, newly 18. As always, he will be cursed with baby face. And he'll look similar to his Investigator self but not quite--almost a doppelganger but not precisely.

Darius was enamored with him almost immediately, the man seeming so powerful and cool to him, showing him just enough kindness that Darius latched onto him immediately. Leaving him with a loving family didn't work out so well, as Darius would run off or otherwise try to find Zack. Eventually, he caved, saying that Darius could stay with him. Zack told himself it would be temporary. It wasn't.
They moved around a lot. Darius not only somehow survived, but did well enough to graduate from school, and has even helped his 'father' with several missions. Not that Zack wants him to be like him. He encourages Darius to be anything else. But he taught Darius how to keep himself safe enough because he insists on helping.
Darius does what he can to make sure Zack doesn't fall over dead. He learned to cook via a mixture of YouTube, cooking channels, and lots of internet searches, because Zack sure as shit wasn't good at feeding himself. Packed lunches for his dad are a thing, as are healthier late night snacks that he can grab out of the fridge. Darius makes him go to the doctor and fusses at him over drinking a little too much. He learns the names of the ladies that Zack brings home, and sometimes makes breakfast for three. But even so, he can see that he's only putting band-aids on gaping wounds, and that Zack is slowly sliding--just slower because he's got Darius to keep him together.
He can't leave him, because he knows what'll happen. The man effectively saved his life, but Darius can't save his, and it troubles him deeply. It's also a pretty convincing argument on why he shouldn't follow Zack's path, and he's starting to see the value of it, even if he refuses to acknowledge it as the truth. There were probably a few years of arguing as Darius grew up and became a teenager, but he grew up quickly when he realized how badly Zack needed him, even if the man would never admit it.
Darius, being a bit of a stolen child, has forged papers. He starting to pick up the habit of odd jobs from his father, but of the more peaceful variety. A lot of cash under the table. Not too much drinking, because Zack kinda soured him to that, but he'll enjoy a good pint. He'll also enjoy a good book, although not as vivaciously as Drizzt. He likes crime and horror novels in particular. Darius has no idea what he wants to do for a career or what he wants in life, too worried about Zack to really consider himself. Even after all these years, Darius doesn't truly understand all the things that haunt Zack, even though he's tried to talk to him.
Someday, he almost expects to find Zack dead. He may even have some money saved up for a funeral.
ALSO he might meet a cute guy around the time of the funeral and they could date, ahaha. Darius might still be a virgin if he hasn't been in any one place long enough. But he might not be. I'll have to roll on it.
EDIT: Also, Drizzt is currently employed at the Harrogate Tourist Information Centre. Yay!

Ace, the Troubled Ancestor was once a handyman-slash-errand boy for a traveling theater troupe. He was in a relationship with another woman on the crew, and when she mentioned she was pregnant, they decided to finally get hitched. It was an exciting occasion for the both of them and they were eager to save up for a proper celebration with the rest of the troupe, their family.
Then Harrogate happened.
Ace died in the 1897 Theater Fire. Thoughts of his wife- and child-to-be kept him bound to the world of the living, though it was years before he was able to actually see them. By then, his fiancee had settled down in Harrogate with another man, who was raising their child as his own. Somewhere between incredibly relieved and horribly jealous, Ace decided to stick around to make sure she lived out a happy life. Then he obviously had to do the same for their child, and then his grandkids, and then...
Well, it's now 2020, and he's still here. Still watching.

As a ghost, Ace's guiding motivation is the protection of his descendants. He cares about them all fiercely and it is this mission that has given him the willpower to stay sane and coherent over the centuries. Over the years, he has kept himself occupied by intervening in his descendants' lives in ways big and small, benign and violent -- and by playing the occasional prank on the local residents. Needless to say, there are many ghost stories that are the result of his messing around, though they are often attributed to other spirits.
I'd love love love for Ace to have CR with other infiltrators, since he needs descendants to worry about. Check out this post if you're interested!

Terrible realization: I left the exact date of Zed's accident and death terribly vague, and it is entirely possible that in life, Ace may have known the guy who survived a terrible railroad accident only to go around thinking he was an emperor.
Because, hey, now they're both dead, only one of them is now hanging with the cool crowd and trying to spread mayhem and chaos and all that good stuff. He may want company here in the cool corner.
