CHARACTER RECLAIMS

From now until endgame, Synodiporia is closed to new applications.

However, players who dropped or idled characters but who do not have a behavioral strike against them may reclaim characters at any time. Dungeons and app windows are no longer necessary. Simply comment below with "I'd like to bring [character (username)] back!" And we'll take it from there.

Players already at 3 characters who wish to bring back a 4th or 5th may do so so long as they're current on AC. Players wishing to bring in characters above 5 may request special mod permission.

If you are uncertain if you qualify to reclaim, please email us at synodiporians@gmail.com and ask!

Fault-lines in the soul are how Imriel describes what he can see when he looks at people and Melisande confirms that she can see them as well when the two finally meet. Basically, they are a gift allowing someone to see another person's weak spots, areas in which they could be manipulated and exploited.

To see fault-lines, one must be close to the person being examined and you must must focus only on them for a decent amount of time. Fault-lines can also be used to determine if someone is lying.

For example, when Melisande looks at Imriel's fault-lines, she sees that his weaknesses are his grief, pride, and yearning. However, she also sees that he is courageous and wise, so fault-lines can contain hints at the person's strengths as well as weaknesses.

When Imriel looked at Melisande, the main fault-line he sees is himself: "the kernel of vulnerability at her core."

I hope that helps!
