CHARACTER RECLAIMS

From now until endgame, Synodiporia is closed to new applications. However, players who dropped or idled characters but who do not have a behavioral strike against them may reclaim characters at any time. Dungeons and app windows are no longer necessary. Simply comment below with "I'd like to bring [character (username)] back!" And we'll take it from there. Players already at 3 characters who wish to bring back a 4th or 5th may do so so long as they're current on AC. Players wishing to bring in characters above 5 may request special mod permission. If you are uncertain if you qualify to reclaim, please email us at synodiporians@gmail.com and ask!

Awesome, thank you! I had been planning to wait for the next mingle to intro regardless, so I'm happy to wait on your decision regarding powercap options.

If I can just ask quickly though - I imagine the powercap would mainly be in regard to things like jaunt skills, rather than how her ability works with other player characters? I'd been planning to put up a permissions post with my ooc intro, but if the powercap could be more general than I might hold off on that too.

Unfortunately I can't give you a definitive answer on that, as the mods discussion currently consists of the words " we should discuss this." I'd hold off on a permission post for the moment and will get you some more definitive answers as soon as we can.

Her ability will revert anyone's form to human, and will block form-dependant powers, but will not affect other abilities. You're welcome to take a single base level liminal or telepathic skill in compensation and report it on the skills page! We would also ask that you either put up an opt-interview permissions post, or simply be sure to always ask before negating a player's abilities!

Would that still apply to characters that are non-human originally (like Hajime)? Since in that case I'd imagined that she'd either not affect them at all or revert them to their original form, rather than make them human.

And I don't need to take any replacement skills for her, since this is actually pretty close to what I was originally imagining anyway! And a permissions post will definitely be coming.
