CHARACTER RECLAIMS

From now until endgame, Synodiporia is closed to new applications.

However, players who dropped or idled characters but who do not have a behavioral strike against them may reclaim characters at any time. Dungeons and app windows are no longer necessary. Simply comment below with "I'd like to bring [character (username)] back!" And we'll take it from there.

Players already at 3 characters who wish to bring back a 4th or 5th may do so so long as they're current on AC. Players wishing to bring in characters above 5 may request special mod permission.

If you are uncertain if you qualify to reclaim, please email us at synodiporians@gmail.com and ask!

Ah, sorry -- I misunderstood the requirements for the 3rd person sample when apping a second character. I hope this works as a replacement.

(In this sample Alice has just woken up in Sabra with all her memories gone. The only clue she has is a metal tube that contains a small video message made by her pre-amnesia self. "Blank" is the term for all the people brought to Sabra la Tau by the Judges.)

The woman in the metal tube was dressed in blue and white that set off her eyes, her long hair gleaming. She made an irritated face and sighed impatiently before speaking. "Another game...? I must truly have a boring imagination." She sighed. "Fine. I do this willingly."

The blank watched the scene in the tube again, tugging on her own long hair—so far she'd found it to be a complete annoyance, already tangling around her arms, but the woman in the tube made her long hair look sleek and graceful. Maybe because of the ribbon she wore kept it out of her eyes? Perhaps that would help with the tangled mess now annoying the blank. But no, the bow that looked so cute on the woman in the tube would probably just look silly on the blank.

She sighed as she watched the message in the tube play again. The woman in the tube looked like she could face any game without flinching, and the blank wished she could borrow some of that confidence for herself because all she felt was nervous and scared. Here she was, stuck in a sterile room with a useless message. A game? What sort of game involved waking up in a room like this and clothes like these anyway? The blank gave the tube a shake, hoping something would change. When nothing did, and she tossed it aside. It hit the wall and rolled under her bed. The blank lay back in her bed and tried to think things through. Obviously she didn't know where she was, or what was going on, or what might lay beyond her door. But equally obviously she wouldn't survive for very long if she continued to huddle on her bed like a scared child.

After a few moments the blank steeled herself and sat up. She retrieved her tube to give it one last look—the woman inside it really was beautiful, even if her words were useless. The blank set the tube aside on the table and made the bed. After one last look around, she finally squared her shoulders and took a deep breath before opening the door.
