CHARACTER RECLAIMS

From now until endgame, Synodiporia is closed to new applications. However, players who dropped or idled characters but who do not have a behavioral strike against them may reclaim characters at any time. Dungeons and app windows are no longer necessary. Simply comment below with "I'd like to bring [character (username)] back!" And we'll take it from there. Players already at 3 characters who wish to bring back a 4th or 5th may do so so long as they're current on AC. Players wishing to bring in characters above 5 may request special mod permission. Hello, thank you for applying! Before we process your application, we'd just like to ask for some revisions.

Your personality section, while overall fine needs a little bit more expansion/detail because of your proposed canon point. Since Chapter 6 involves a critical change in his outlook/views, even if he is from before this scene, he's at the cusp and potentially could run into a situation that prompts this change in Synodiporia very quickly. Therefore, we'd just like to make sure that you have enough of a grasp on his personality changes just in case!

Ah! No problem!

Heisuke, because of his canon point, is of the firm belief that because he is 'dead' does not deserve a future. He rushes head long into the hunt for Sannan, with Chizuru, but because of what he is he views himself as a monster. It takes Chizuru slapping him to pull him out of this. There is a marked change in him at that point, he realizes that while his life is his own, he also has things that are important to him that he can't forget about. He has Chizuru, and the other Shinsengumi, though scattered, to think about and that he can't just throw his own life away nor can he just callously label himself a monster, when Chizuru can't stand for him to think of himself that way or even as dead. This also solidifies when they have their kiss scene. He tells her that she is always saving him, something he is clearly not used to anymore after becoming a Rasetsu. Sanosuke and Shinpachi are gone, Hijikata is trying to fight a war, and everything Heisuke ever wanted when it came joining the Shinsengumi in the first place has changed. Chizuru brings that all back into perspective for him and he's able to face Sannan in battle.
