Elsewhere University Week 1 Summary/Week 2 Plotting
The school year has begun at Elsewhere University, and much is happening. Miss Shelly the librarian is here to keep things nice and orderly in the library, while Fennel the IT Guy is making sure that some notices get posted, while Foxglove tends the grounds. Trey is here to answer all your questions - for free, even. For those that are keen on extracurricular activities, The Teacher has some good suggestions for clubs to join. Well, one club. His club. Perhaps The Sorority Leader’s offerings are more interesting, if you care to visit her where she holds court. But many folk are just trying to get by and get their head around it all. Taurina is helping out the newbies, as the RA ought to do. Argentum is taking her bodyguarding job very seriously, and working hard to blend in to the oddness. Alayne is just trying to get by, despite the rumors about her enrollment. But it cannot be denied that things are very odd, on the whole. Dream-Eater’s portable shop of wonders is not your usual campus sales outlet… and what is up with Anna Monday, who just seems to be floating there?
Rowan upholds her own floral theme. Professor Rhodium tries out this year's new name and chills with crows, and Nye is ever so helpful. Professor Antinous is well-dressed and ready to greet his new students. Miss Reed has snacks galore, if you'd care to strike a deal. And if you need books, The Bookseller can help you... for a price.
Feste is angling for a particular role on stage; Casper is looking closer and making deals with him that might be risky. Gale is just otherworldly enough to almost fit right in. There are also some werewolves on campus, and a vampire, to add some variety to the supernatural spookiness. Also, there is definitely something up with Eagle One, given his dorm decorating choices. Meanwhile, on the opposite end of things, Bismuth and Rose Quartz get to try out being human.
Lyall soon realizes that Liminal Space is having lockdown issues. Gil does not like any of this one little bit, and he has taken some time to tell everyone on the network about the Fae he has managed to identify.
Next Week: Involved staff will find out that their royal guest has failed to keep regular contact with home due to being replaced by a Changeling. This could attract unwanted attention from the authorities. A Treaty-sanctioned and staff-approved emergency rescue mission will be mounted by the RA into the Elsewhere. The rescue is expected to last the rest of the Jaunt. If the first area filled with guard plants is solved in time, week 3 will proceed to Anna Monday’s glass-filled domain. Please sign your character up over here. Characters will be RNG'd and results posted on September 29, two days after the week 2 mingle goes up, to determine who will fail to remain with the rescuers and at which week they are separated. Players may also choose to pull out their characters early at any time.
Because the rescue party will need all the info, food, etc. they can get, much of the action will be in the form of help from those not in the party. Investigators may liken this rescue mission to Dungeon diving, but with outside help. Non-Fae helpers trying to stick with the RA and their official rescue party will encounter more Elsewhere dangers because they are not officially permitted by the Treaty to be around them. These dangers will follow them to the rescue party, thus the unofficial helpers will be motivated to draw these dangers away.
If you're planning any Deep Plot or Meaplot Poking this jaunt, don't forget to drop us a line about it here.

Tijan will be stopped from going to either of his safe places by his most persistent and malicious bully (whose safe name is 'Armored Warrior' for reference and he's the canon counterpart of Reiner Braun). He will be left in an abandoned building until the full moon rises and then he'll break out from the binds holding him... and then there's a mad werewolf around campus for the night. He'll be unable to identify anyone by scent and will try to bite anyone.
(he will be able to turn one person to a werewolf, but that's all he'll be able to, because I'd prefer to leave it at just Mikasa's overlay, Argentum)
Of course, the bully shall receive a punishment through a fae curse, once they get wind who it is :3
But encountering him in his mad wolf form (occasionally bipedal, red eyed, dangerous looking in general) is possible and help to guide him to the forest or something is going to be needed. Only his bite will turn someone.
Otherwise there will be a very sulky and regretting and just hurting Tijan.

If you wanted an actual safe space that he can actually hide in/wake up to near the end of the night.
The Nook will appear to him as he has been it it now once before. It recognize him and can attempt to 'trap' him while he's out.
