Altaïr, Oracle of Sight, can be a guide against illusory nightmares in the Forest Pools. His Eagle Vision can also determine the direction (but not the distance) of a living target, if it becomes relevant to. In general he's human-normal athletic, stealthy, and has a bunch of blades (hidden in his Hammerspace). Indigo Color Magic and Interface could drum up more information.
