Ouroboros Retrograde week 1 summary/week 2 plotting

Scarstin is on hand to answer questions about the Rise of the Adversaries era, and to demand food. Yuuki offers guidance to those interested in the Starquake era. Lupa offers welcome to the returning Travelers, and guidance to those interested in the Double Valence era. Whether the Oracleversary of Resonance is helpful or confrontational depends greatly on his age. Kentrolite shows off just how Adversarial he can be. Sayf searches for a new group of friends to help deal with the coming storm. Allura searches for allies willing to rally to the cause of elven liberation. The Eidolon of Shadows is a mystery looking for an answer.

Daneel attempts to ward wanderers away from the blue flames along the Starquake bridge. Gonzalo finds some sympathy for his Adversary status, to his spirit companion's chagrin. Jules brings the nightmare of pop-up ads to Questing Country. Wulf preys on those who stray from the crowd.

Phillip investigates the Peacebonds, and shares his findings on the network. Kinji investigates the Double Valence bridge as similar to the vision he'd had prior to the Jaunt's start. Thorne finds a solution to her discomfort with sharing Charoite's body, and introduces the possibility of Ectoplasmic Embodiment to the network. Though Matthew may not trust the party, he's intrigued by the vista below - which of course means he and Kinji experiment with magical cliff-diving to get a closer look. Souji sets up an information booth for the Travelers to mirror the Oracles' council. Sabetha shares the news that overlays don't always resemble their former Travelers.

Next week: An unusual beast tears through Questing Country - or perhaps more than one of them is doing so, as there are tracks into distinctly Rise- and Starquake-era areas. Both the beast(s) and their point of origin will need tracking down; set up your groups here, and let us know if you come up with any Clever Plans over here.

Frizz, Champion of the Forest, met another elf finally last week and also, I'm going to say, spent a considerable amount of time with his adopted Gorgon mother since she's off-screen existing in the previous generation. He's still hesitant to really get to know other Champions because he's not sure he can elf (and he has Imposter Syndrome, being new to all of this), but this new threat should spur him into action.

Potentially stupid action (going into the Forest when he's fairly new just because that's his aspect). Also, I updated his original plotting comment to reflect how I'm changing him to be pretty brand new as a Champion, maybe a couple of months. Maybe someone could show him the ropes before he does something stupid? An Oracle take him under their wing? (If I didn't just break things by making this change, anyway.)

While I'd normally offer Allura for How To Elf lessons, she's heading to a different time-slash-place than he is.

However, Sabetha's overlay is a) an Oracle and b) headed into the forest, so if he needs an adult to show him the ropes and try to rein him in if he gets extra-Champion, I could offer her? At least one of her ducklings should be a Champion, since she's not actually a Dark Oracle.

Drizzt will find lessons from someone, obviously! Someone will teach the boy how to elf.

... yes, please do go save him from being stupid. He needs an escort. Would she herd him back to safety, stay by his side, or would it depend?

Probably keep him close so she can keep an eye on him - she accepts that risks are inherent in being a Champion, and trying to keep one of them completely away from danger isn't going to help anything, so she's more inclined to try to guide their impulses.

That makes sense to me! I can make a toplevel and link you to it when it's ready? (Sometime tomorrow, I think?)
