Thorne is excited to be back in California. Altair and Xena take the phrase "riding the bus" a little too literally. Natasha investigates the area in an attempt to figure out the reason behind the Jaunt. Cloud quickly inserts himself into the festival's organizational structure.

Altair gets the wrong impression from local fashion. Kanji finds himself needing a band in short order. Claudia has a lead on something unusual about Audio Outcast's front man.

Week/Day 2:

Shooting Star makes a rare public appearance in Wilton, before discovering one of his bandmates is missing. Phillip takes off to Wilton to avoid the Shooting Star hype - which helps not at all. Lilo attempts to warn all the band members she can find about the dangers of the festival. Ziggy attempts to avoid attention, when not offering music lessons. Kelly continues to do her best to beat the chaos of the festival into submission. Susan plays roadie in order to keep an eye on things backstage. Jesse's disappearance turns out to be because he and Jacob are playing an illicit joint set in a dive bar.

Familiar faces Donna and Dara man the merch and concession stands, respecitvely. Ryo's snake gets loose backstage. Zed engages in a little harmless sabotage. Kasey and the more musically inclined Investigators work to pull an act (and a name) together last minute.

Elizabeth seeks a religious experience. Jean attempts to gather information backstage, and reveals that this trip might be shorter than the average Jaunt. Cloud outs Kinji as Shooting Star to the Investigators. Hiroshi returns from being briefly sidetracked, prompting a 'what we know so far' update.

Week/Day 3:

Shooting Star in both his guises seems a little on edge after his bandmate's temporary disappearance. Phillip's enjoyment of the show is damaged by his band's manager's disappearance. Ziggy's human disguise falters on-stage.

Agent D'Eath has progressed from investigating the more unusual festival-goers to abducting a number of them (with the help of a few assistants), including: Zed, who is not a model captive; Dakki, who struggles to maintain a human appearance; Malik, who assumes he's been taken prisoner because of his criminal ties; Ken, whose earlier wariness proves entirely justified; and Akira, who at least has the sense to go quietly.

Tachi attempts to deflect suspicion for Ken's disappearance onto Yakumo. Melissa frets over Malik's disappearance. Michelle pins down the location of some missing alien tech. Kasey checks in on his friends in the wake of the rumours surrounding the kidnappings.

Yakumo tries to set himself up to follow the kidnappers, only to fall victim to Tachi himself. Sara tests out her mecha, and catches the attention of the local clandestine authorities.

Across the telepathic network, a flurry of planning goes up surrounding the kidnappings. Zed wants to blast his way out. Allura attempts to collate information for a rescue attempt. Yakumo identifies several possibilities for Agent D'Eath's collaborators at the festival. Madoka suggests using her former overlay's security clearance to get into the facility.

Week/Day 4:

Various investigators stage a breakout at Area 54, aiming to get everyone who needs to be at the festival back there. While the agents have their hands full and D’Eath tries a desperation move, Ziggy makes a break for it. Ken is returned literally just in time for the Shooting Stars’ set, which he promptly declares to be their last concert since he used his transformation earring onstage; afterward, he has some explaining to do to his bandmates. Lilo is upset about the pending arrival of her parents. Phillip does his best to follow that tough act. After the show, Jesse goes looking for Jacob to talk shit over.

Tachi gets called on the carpet by Yakumo. Malik, having made a deal to work with Area 54, is just glad to be home. Geordi has his world rocked.

The Travelers’ band enjoys their last hurrah on stage (almost as much as they enjoy being done). Zed goes to the fireworks. Elphaba has considerably mixed emotions about Zak’s actions in captivity.

Week/Day 5:

As the dust from yesterday’s excitement settles, Ken ties up some loose ends, and Ziggy semi-sheds his disguise. Phillip makes no effort whatsoever to help clean a damn thing up. D’Eath prepares her division’s shift in focus from ‘extraterrestrial threats’ to ‘interplanar threats.’

Tachi works on recruiting his bandmates for the fight against interdimensional ninja. Geordi reconnects with an old friend.

Altair uses his Tiresias form to avoid attracting attention. Pod learns to drive. Dakki does some last-minute shopping.
