+1 Teacher/Ex-con/Recovering Tykebomb

Hey everyone! 

I'm Scout and I'm super new to the game. I'll be bringing Jack from Mass Effect - a loving and inspiring teacher, a war hero twice over and has only recently (talking six months to a year, people ) mellowed from being a terrifying, anti-social, borderline-psychopathic ex-con. There may also be some issues with having once  been a child weapon, but that was like fifteen years ago - it's fiiiiiine.

Now she's an unsettling, hyper-possessive, protocol flouncing teacher. With psychic powers.  Which is fine really, so long as no one threatens her or her people, she's willing to let bygones be bygones. There'd likely be an issue if something reminded her of her brutal, dehumanizing, torturous childhood, but odds of that are probably low, right?

They are indeed XD (for the longer explanation, they're called the Blue Electric Angels, and they're essentially a conglomerate magical entity born from leftover life left on the telephone wires. in other words, they were born from everyone's telephone conversations)

I'm Thomas, and I play Armin Arlert from Attack on Titan and Imriel from Kushiel's Legacy. Armin is 18 but he was a child soldier fighting giant humanoid monsters who eat humans (joined at age 12), so there might be some interesting ground to cover there. And Imriel was never a weapon, but he's 10 years old and has been through ridiculous amounts of trauma, with being kidnapped and sold into slavery in a madman's seraglio where cruelty is both a way of life and an act of worship.

Oh man, I feel like there's a lot of bonding potential here - specifically of the 'Know that feeling/ must be lvl 4 friends to unlock my tragic backstory' variety.

I feel like she'd lean harder towards Imriel, just for the whole survivor of cruelty angle. She and Armin might have some interesting convos but he might grate a little being so smart.

/nods, yeah, that'd definitely be interesting. And could really help him, because he definitely doesn't really feel like he can talk to anyone about what happened in Darsanga, even people he's close to. It would be easier to tell another trauma survivor. (Although she'd still need to make it to friend lvl 4 first)
