Jaunt Voting for July!
The State of the Game was scheduled to go up tomorrow, however, Matt unexpectedly got an offer of temp work for tomorrow through the next week, so it's going to be delayed (hopefully less than a week). However, the Jaunt voting is going up tonight! The poll will be open until 11:59 PM CST on June 10th, and as always, voting is weighted, so a first-choice pick receives double what a second choice does.
Please feel free to ask any questions, or make any suggestions for the upcoming State of the Game post, under the toplevel below.
The Jaunt options are:
Villains and Vigilantes: An unabashed superhero romp through a world where ordinary men and women have been anointed as champions or conquerors by the leakage of power from other dimensions. Confronted with invasions from spirit worlds, ancient mythological conflicts, and prickly ethical conundrums, the Empowered of Newport are no strangers to the collisions of other worlds with their own - but right now, the Travelers aren’t the invaders they’re most worried about.
Dance Fever: The year is 1919, and in Botany Bay, New South Wales, people have been getting sick. Rumors of a global pandemic have been spreading since the Treaty of Versailles was signed, but the nature of the disease is elusive, and it seems usually nonfatal. It isn’t until the groundbreaking new theories of Carl Jung on ‘social technology’ are applied that it becomes obvious this is a ‘social disease,’ enhancing the human ability to communicate through audiovisual and pheromonal expression. When a ‘radical expression’ outbreak is confirmed, the hospital of St. Genesius goes under quarantine. Can this illness be treated or contained?
Enterrado: In a frontier town in 1800s Nevada, a dead prospector is found with a large, rough nugget of pure silver in his bag. Who killed him is less important than where the site of his find is, in the mine-riddled hills around the city, and whether miners, bandidos, gunslingers, or outsiders will find it first - and what will befall anyone who’s suspected of having a lead on the stake.
