A lie detector, capable of determinuing emotion at a glance, with uncanny knowledge of others identities, Souji can be un-nerving, until he dons the appropriate mask, at which point it's almost impossible not to trust him. A foo lion named Shisa is his familiar, a frightening looking cat-dog who often appears to be a terracotta statue.
