Poll results, play casting, & next week’s plotting!
First of all, the polling in the State of the Game post is now closed! We’re taking skill suggestions into consideration - there were some new ideas in there that really excited us, & which you may see available as soon as this month!
The Jaunt voting, both weighted and unweighted, had a clear first place favorite in Doki Doki no Gakuen, so that will be our February/March plot! Details will come about a week in advance, after we’re sure we know how the current plot will wrap.
Voting on whether or not to announce Jaunts ahead of time was extremely close - twelve for it, nine against it, and three abstentions. At this time, we’ll continue announcing the basic concept well in advance, & detailed plotting only a few days beforehand, but given the nearness of the vote, may revisit the question in the future, especially if the current model seems not to be working.
Second, the play being put on for this jaunt, The King In Yellow, has been cast!
Cassilda will be played by Chizuru
Camilla will be played by Lila
The Phantom of Truth will be played by Armin
The Stranger will be played by Sera
Naotalba will be played by Dick
Thale will be played by Zatanna
Aldones will be played by Nezumi, who will also be the primary understudy.
The Hyades will be played by Regina & Allen, who will also understudy.
Third - plotting for next week! Tonight or tomorrow (pending some feedback from plot-important characters), new mingles will be going up! The Hellfire Club, the Scions of Silver Dawn, & the Innkeeper will each be hosting dinner parties - the first two are recruiting and the third is a gracious host, so any characters will be welcome to attend any parties. At some point during the evening, a dead body will be turning up. And the cultists will also be having their own private, anonymous meeting at an undisclosed location.
Plotting for these will go up on the OOC comm just as soon as we finish getting feedback (and that’s entirely Matt’s fault for not pinging everyone earlier). If you want to discuss anything in this post, you can go ahead and comment below, or comment to the questions toplevel if you have any questions about this post!
