Among the Crownbreakers: Catia meets with her co-conspirators and learns what's happened to the Crownbreakers' missing cargo. Kaimana makes a new friend who may not have his best intentions at heart.
With the Xunhuo Guwei: Shen scopes out the port and searches for illusionists.

Among the Crownbreakers: Midori and others work together to replace the gunpowder in their mines with sand in preparation for a trade. Kyou looks for leads, works on sabotaging mines, and plays diplomat between the Crownbreakers and investigators.
With the Xunhuo Guwei: As part of their plan to re-purpose the drop mines they've received, Min works on creating as many empty barrels as possible. On the other end of this plan, Yang works on the actual re-purposing of the mines. Haneul tries to give his minders the slip and looks to the dead for information.
Other infiltrators: Teisuu has an awkward run-in with a suspicious investigator, and spies on an illusionist. Saya gets a biology lesson from a perfectly normal human person, what are you talking about.

Among the investigators: Hajime makes some bad form-related decisions. Kinji makes some even worse decisions and gets killed for his trouble. Much to her chagrin, Cassandra has a discussion with a fellow spy.

On the network: Thorne reports on her confrontation with Teisuu and fills the investigators in on the Xunhuo crew's plan. Cassandra reveals the identity of the Thalassian spy. Kinji passes along as much as he can about his confrontation with Lian (and subsequent consumption by Kaimana) to Cassandra. Now that the investigators are aware of the Stricken disease in the area, Sento gets to work.


Next Week: The rival crews attempt a meeting to trade cargoes. The smuggled goods and explosives must be planted, for better or worse, as the final sea battles are re-enacted. Any undiscovered secrets must be uncovered now or lurk in murky waters for times to come.
