She is, terrifyingly, capable of assuming more than one form; but most commonly she uses eels, lampreys, shipworms, or the occasional jellyfish for her totem. Her human half is very tall and very pallid; her lower half much longer than most merfolk's, her fingers very long and bony. And she projects a sense of terror wherever she goes, so even though her specific form may vary, she is unmistakable.
