Question of Albion final summary

Week 1:

Rightful heir Caelum tries to catch a break from preparations for the upcoming ceremony. His cousin Weiss is less than excited about the proceedings. Phillipe is trying not to panic about the Ring of Solomon’s upcoming plans. Despite being very busy, Bettrys keeps an ear to the ground. Percival is certainly not scheming anything, no sirree.

Charity squeezes in some studying while in transit. Rokkon has been sent on some errands. Nola is here to ensure perfect weather on the day of the abdicoronation ceremony. The Viscount Washburne attempts to wrangle his daughter, which is complicated by Rose half-investigating. Alvise is more than happy to ride a horse to Londinium. Epine dives headlong into discussions of comparative magical theory. A local graveyard is well looked after by its resident genius. Rin tries to make the best of a dire predicament. Moira is eager to apply her knowledge. Sen attempts to summon a travel genius, and fails miserably.

Ambrose gets the check-in going. Daneel hasn’t investigated in a while. Jean summons Mikasa over from the walkabout, to make sure he gets through the imminent full moon without hurting anyone. Stone is not a fan of coach travel. Sora, while used to world-hopping, is less well-versed in the specific mechanics of Traveling. Delaunay ponders the similarities and differences between Albion and his world’s Alba. Claudia is just glad this isn’t Newport after all, as she’d feared it might be. Ignis, with none of his close friends readily available, works himself up into a tizzy; when he calms down, he finagles his way into Caelum’s household. Ryo gets to help Hajime do stuff this time! Bismuth passes herself off as a gem genius. Joscelin offers to share the wealth. Naoki pokes the walkabout contingent to see how they’re faring.

Week 2:

Percival seems to be having tremendous difficulty with his lifestyle - and Atlantic is intrigued enough by Percy’s power-grab plan to continue prodding the idea. Phillipe hates all of this. Bettrys gets her grandstanding on, and finally has cause to wonder what her old friend Percy’s actually up to here. Bellarosa is not exactly pleased about the failure to even deliver her contract to An Entire Ocean before things went wrong.

High King Germaine is available for the final court business of his reign. Cenric sees to guarding his king. Various members of the Ring of Solomon try to figure out what went wrong and how to do damage control. Meanwhile, the fact that something Very Big has arrived in Londinium is immediately obvious to every genius in the vicinity, as well as several druids of their acquaintance. Brad the Snake is enjoying his current human vessel. Laurentius just wants to have his bookshop in peace. Bada goes about his business, and does some exploring.

Ignis, the only investigator in a position to witness the botched summoning, reports the result to the network. Sora is always down for a good party. Hajime is Very Interested in the prospect of a tournament. Cassandra didn’t like these portents before Liminal Space flooded. Bismuth is slightly baffled by the feast. Shinji gets prepared in case they have to fight fire with fire (or rather, salt water with sunlight). Jean keeps an ear to the ground. Yukino doesn’t want another jaunt world learning about Travelers and the Arcana right after Hell managed to last time. Wash gets de-infiltrated, and tries to get caught up.

Week 3:

Phillipe tries to make sense of Percy’s plans, and decide what to do about Atlantic. Atlantic, meanwhile, is trying to decide whether Albion deserves to be sunk - a matter complicated by some Travelers deciding what they really need to do is fight an ocean, resulting in minor flooding around Londinium. Bellarosa tries to determine how to clean up this mess. Bettrys offers to facilitate talks between Atlantic and the Lady of Albion. Weiss is totally not bitter about the upcoming ceremony what are you talking about.

Charity is in panic mode. Rokkon seeks out the source of the wet feeling. Nola does her best to carry on with business as usual. Rin tests the boundaries of his partial-possession situation.

Claudia hunts for the source of the weirdness. Shinji opts for learning stuff by watching people (and letting Koromaru pester them). Yukino tests a stopgap measure. Stone doesn’t know what to make of bagpipes. Hajime gets himself disqualified from the tourney. Sora is generally in favor of diplomacy. Eren, freshly de-infiltrated, goes looking for more information about Atlantic. Ambrose keeps an ear to the ground. Jean asks the network who poked the ocean.

Week 4:

The Lady of Albion takes up the task of deciding who is worthy for what of her regard. Atlantic bows out of the succession argument. Phillipe tries not to be too awkward at the rituals. Bellarosa suggests an alternate possession arrangement to Atlantic and Phillipe. Cenric finally hears about the summoning-the-ocean shenanigans in full, and proceeds to have WORDS with Caelum and Weiss.

Jaina takes issue with the fact that both prospective heirs to the throne were willing to entertain Percy’s bribery. Ignis gets dadded at. Cassandra stumbles across an omen related to Liminal Space, rather than Albion. Ryo tries to find Hajime a lawyer.

Week 5:

Since Caleum’s chat with the Lady of Albion didn’t go very well, and since concerns were raised about both Caelum and Weiss entertaining the notion of backing from a foreign power, neither heir is crowned after all, with High King Germaine instead taking on an additional year of regency. In addition, the royal guard starts chasing down members of the Ring of Solomon, but with their leader already in custody now that an entire ocean has been removed from him, the other members are deemed no threat and simply sent on their way.

Phillipe has some adjusting to do, after last week’s events. Nola celebrates her sister’s successful initiation, and tries to understand why Percy did what he did; Percy remains unrepentant. Gerome would be popcorning at the chaos, if only Londinium had popcorn. Rokkon tries to get his head around what happened with the coronation. Bettrys is just tired.

Ignis starts fixing what he broke at the beginning of the jaunt. Stone gets caught up in the royal guard’s questioning. Wash makes sure all the food for the canceled coronation feast gets put to good use around town.
