The Alluran Conspiracy has the potential to seriously mess with the timeline. Sara is stubbornly refusing to really listen to the experts regarding this - mostly Davesprite and Tick-Tock - as she has the (erroneous) impression that they would try to shut it down rather than advise her on doing it and Not Regretting It (TM), to the point of deliberately avoiding the Colonel.

This is a horrible, horrible idea born of stubborn teenage pride and black and white thinking and I fully expect it to blow up in her face with IC consequences.
