Yeah, I feel this - while I was expecting a certain amount of darkness and violence (I'm not one of our resident classics majors, but I'm familiar enough with bronze age mythology to know that some of it's incredibly bloody and disturbing), this got a lot more apocalyptic a lot faster than I was expecting. In retrospect, I can see where the clues to horrible, horrible doom were in the blurb, but that isn't really helpful when you're at the voting stage. Going forward, clearer indications of tone and content in Jaunt blurbs might help. (Inasmuch as the Jaunt runners can give those indications, because sometimes you end up misjudging how people will take a plot or what direction they'll go in.)
