It's easy enough to tell that Drizzt is far younger than he remembers as well, and certainly not close enough to being an adult. Drizzt is unnerved by the familiarity, not sure what has sparked it. Jarlaxle seems to think they are suddenly old friends.

"Nothing like that," Drizzt states with a shake of his head. "I fear what other sort of trouble you may attract, and trouble seems to find me often enough."
