jay will probably adore inanna, he gets ridiculously protective of kids and teenagers because he's maternal as fuck by nature and if inanna's nonbinary and pan, he'll be double protective because he was trans (and GNC to boot) and gay and a teenager and it was hard and he doesn't want kids to have to go through that sort of hell alone.

he can handle niceness, at least from people younger than him. anyone he'd consider a peer being nice to him leads to his brain shortcircuiting.
