We have Jaunt-specific posts for plotting and CR, but CR doesn't end between Jaunts, and building relationships and character development can span more than one Jaunt. Thus, a general CR meme, for all your long-term plotting needs.

Oona + Winnie

Character: Oona ✥ OC ✥ OU ✥ mermaiding
Character Info: A mermaid captured by humans when she was a teenager (by mermaid's standards) and held captive for 20+ years. She removed her tail to take on a human form and escaped, murdering everyone in her way. Stubborn, prideful, and greatly dislikes humans, she finds herself clashing with a lot ofhuman culture (why do you guys like clothes so much??) and being repeatedly baffled when humans are nice to her.
Upcoming Plans: Jaunt plotting is here! Other than that, mostly she's just trying to wrap her head around things still.
CR/Plotting Desired: I just want her to reluctantly make friends with people and either play Big Sister to them or Bratty Little Sister-type haha. She wants a harem but it probably ain't gonna happen, so she'll flirt with boys and girls left and right.

I'm interested in her meeting/making friends with humans who are, you know, GOOD PEOPLE because her increasing lack of knowing what to do with them gives me life. Also being constantly baffled by human culture and the fact that there are pretty men running around without women protecting them and that everyone's just okay with them fighting, etc. etc.

She's also incredibly blunt and never lies, so negative CR would be easy to get here as she won't hesitate to tell someone they're being stupid or anything so if you need someone to tell your character to knock it off, buck up, etc. etc. Oona' good for the ol' military-style pep talk that usually ends with "and if you're just going to bitch and complain instead of doing something about it, just rollover and die and stop wasting space." So you know. Yeah.

Character: Winnifred "Winnie" Prismall ✥ OC ✥ OU ✥ soulsrob
Character Info: A sheltered, overly-optimistic Upper Class British woman who spent her entire life more or less a prisoner in her own home. Overly fond of fairy-tales and happy endings, she considers herself a sort of "modern day" Robin Hood, stealing already-stolen souls from the rich to find their original bodies and hopefully return them. Literally has no soul and is secretly leading a rebellion of thelower classtooverthrow the upper class + monarchy.
Upcoming Plans: Jaunt plotting is here! SHE'S BRAND NEW SO I HAVE NOTHING BEYOND THIS YET I'M SORRY...
CR/Plotting Desired: Like I said, she's brand new. Despite that, he finds this entire thing very exciting and fun and is throwing herself in full-blast because why not. I expect her to routinely land her ass in trouble because she has no concept of fear or danger. So what I'd like: People to play keeper or be the Straight Man to her antics/attempt to make her tone it down.

WHAT I CAN GIVE: In particular if you have any sort of grumpy character who needs someone to pull them out of their shell and make them uncomfortable/force them to interact, Winnie doesn't know when to give up and will consistently bother your character if she thinks they're interesting/nice/etc.

Aaannd if you need someone for your character to manipulate or they need someone who will blindly defend and trust them because they said a good thing that one time, Winnie is your girl.

Also if you want someone who can drop poems and fairy tales at the drop of a hat or have tea parties with: hi.

I really need one of my four to make friends with Oona. Oona is freaking adorable. My werewolf biology teacher maybe? He might find her quite charming. Also, her flirting with my tiefling thief would make said tiefling thief so uncomfortable, so it totally has to happen sometime.

And for a straight man sort for Winnie, I offer Zoe here, she is super experienced at this. And also at hauling people's asses out of trouble.

I'd totally be up for either of them (OR BOTH why not both, that's cool too). If she knew he was a werewolf Oona would warm up to him a lot faster, though it'd mean he'd also be subject to even MORE of her complaining about humans. Just show up like THE HUMANS DID A DUMB THING AGAIN GOD WHY.

I also fully offer up Oona's "making people uncomfortable through flirting." Not being human is an A++ and she'd be right with her about the human nature thing. The more awkward she gets in response to Oona's flirting, the more she'd probably do it because it amuses her. Oops.

ALSO YES ZOE PLS PUT WINNIE ON TRACK. her lady's maid usually played the role of "okay u need to stop now" and without that Winnie's sort of an unrelenting force of over-optimism...

Neeshka would mostly be uncomfortable cuz she already has a thing for Sabetha :D And so it'll be awkward but hilarious and ironic. So obviously, yes, must happen. And Lyall will pretty much immediately tell her he's a werewolf, he's not hiding it at all, seems silly to do when knowing each other's abilities will make them all work better together, right? Right.

Zoe and Winnie is a go, I will make a note of it :3 It'll be cute!

I need both of these ladies in my life. Oona is precious and I need CR with her in whatever capacity.

Winnie is absolutely somebody both of my boys should meet. Hitsugaya is a grumpy person who needs determined cheerful people to drag him into doing undignified things. And someone who can be manipulated? Why damn if that isn't just peachy for Near.

oh god her and near... she'd give him random toys and shit and tell him riddles and be so delighted. AND WINNIE LOVES GRUMPY PEOPLE she'd totally drag him into playing dumb games with her or being like "oh good you're here I NEED YOUR HELP IT'S URGENT" and the urgent help is something like picking a hat that matches her dress. keeps putting hats on him to see if she can find one that looks good. etc.

she'd probably show up to training and be whiny about it i'm ngl. like if she doesn't get something right the first time she stamps her foot and gets pouty. She has a l o t of pent-up (and not so pent-up tbh) anger issues so Toshi would have a field day I'm sure.

She'd keep stubbornly coming back though with any number of excuses for it.

I mentioned on plurk but I'd love to have people in this jaunt in particualr meet this sweet and bubbly happy-go-lucky Oona, then try to meet her post-Jaunt an be met with the REAL Oona. EXACT OPPOSITE. and she'd be so mad at life about it. SO I'm 100% down with doing stuff with Souji and Oona in the jaunt and going from there. I'm having her be the Champion of Romance so maybe she can like... aggressively try to set Souji up with someone all LET'S GET SOMEONE TO BREAK THROUGH THE MASKS or something corny bullshit like that. I don't know. aggressively cares about souji's love life.

I have two humans and a half-human, although Raidou has a bunch of demon chaperones, which may or may not be reassuring to Oona, and Cassandra started out human before being changed into what she is now by... humans. (And then there is Minako's mascot Mothman, who is an entity unto itself.)

As for Winnie - Raidou tends to be very reticent, and Cassandra is extremely shy and doesn't have a lot of trust in people anymore, although she at least tries to be nice about it most of the time.
