Adachi glanced at him over his shoulder, trying not to look as exasperated as he felt by that obvious understatement.
"Kid, I just watched you be strapped down to a chair, pumped full of chemicals, and die through a plexiglass window," he grumbled. "This is no where near as strange for you as it is for me."
He paused just within arms length of the dark cloud, making a face at it. He... really didn't want to step inside that thing, and he didn't want to send anything in there either; who the hell knew what would happen to it?
