Adachi hesitated at that, much more aware of the fact there were other universes than the kid was. After all, he had heard often enough how much his world was an anomaly, that he wasn't supposed to exist as he was. Things got so fucked up on his world that it altered everyone's lives. People lived that should have died, people died that shouldn't have...

But one thing was always the issue: he wasn't supposed to be the hero.
