There are two NPC roles this plot that would just not be viable for players, so they'll be occupied by familiar faces.

Jordi - this guy here - will be the Prime Defender, the only Priority 0 Program on the Grid, a grizzled warrior who helped carve out the Partition, and who lost his eye to an Automata. Grim and uncompromising, he will do anything he must to protect the Network.
