Character Appearance: Erik is a tall, lean person with ~~historically inaccurate~~ more teeth than necessary, in his mid-30s but projecting the cast of a man about a scrillion years older, and cultivating very deliberately the kind of coiled grace that suggests just because he isn't killing anything right now doesn't mean that's not about to change. His smiles are often weapons, and should rarely be trusted. He wears dark reddish-brown hair disciplined into a slicked-down part, and has light eyes of an indeterminate color.

Aside from an exciting array of scars (caused by everything from like, recent close combat to uh, adolescent torture) he has one identifying mark, and that is a set of numbers (214782) tattooed on the inside of his left forearm. He neither hides nor prominently displays these, so who notices and who does what with those is not up to me.
Character Personality/Temperament: Minimum speech for maximum impact, blackly funny, loner, mutant and proud, pragmatic, quick to violence, quietly and constantly angry, more baggage than LAX
Differences from canon: Acquired skills Network Archive Retrieval, Psychic Protection. It's also worth noting he's almost post-film; heads have been becoined, but no one has been shot quite yet.

Erik is, of course, astonishingly rage-filled at the idea that invisible forces have decided his time could be spent better than what he was currently doing with it, but he's put that on the back burner to be able to function. Go go compartmentalization! Right now he's looking at his situation pragmatically; if he treats every Jaunt as something to excel ruthlessly at, eventually he will be done. Or at least get the opportunity to stick a fork in the eye of whomever/whatever brought him here.

Anything else we should know? I don't ...think so? He doesn't quite ~prefer Magneto~ yet, that's probably a thing.

Types of CR you’re looking for? All of it. Uh. I've played Erik for like three years, I am aware he can be pretty abrasive. So anyone he's managed to alienate already, pls. Come at me and let's be friends because I am way more reasonable than he is.

Tim would start out neutral to him. Joscelin would dislike his approach. Remy's bearing a grudge about his future.

Eren would probably look up to him.

Oh thank god, I was hoping he would get shit for his ...many future iterations as soon as possible just to get it out of the way. XD Although I imagine Remy is playing his cards closer to the chest (if you will) than directly saying anything? :V

But of course. Is Erik getting any kind of particularly hostile vibe? It works for me either way, like ...Erik would mostly just write that off.

I don't think Remy will be able to hide the hostility. If it was business, that's one thing. But he's mad about future Erik stealing his woman, so to speak.

also i. gosh. i want him with EVERYONE but i imagine he'll end up getting on better with lydia than with mal in the end. we'll see how it goes.

Calm knives is the name of their incoming broship.

AND ...man I have no idea. I know it won't take Lydia long to impress him, but like--it totally depends what happens with Mal :V They're of similar temperament in some ways.

Haha omg, possibly more than I have ever wanted anything. Stiles is 100% free to fourth-wall him, if you're up for that XD It's happened before, and it is never not hilarious.

This SO needs to be a thing that happens. I am so excited for this.

And heeeeeeee, Stiles might just do that.

If I may state this without sounding like uhhhh I want to use you for my own purposes, I think their CR could be really cool just because Stiles has (or used to have???) that frustration where he feels like all his friends are these interesting extra-human things, and he is just ....Stiles. It's kind of the literal opposite of anything that has ever happened to Erik, and in the long run could be super good for making him like, calm down about humans fff.

Also please correct me if my interpretation of that is wrong, I barely Teen Woof at all >_>

...yes anyway. NATURALLY, as with every other person who's going to go ...BUT YOU'RE MAGNETO - idk if she would, per se? - he will. Be confused. But please, she's a mutant and flawless, he will love her. Then they can swap Banshee stories and it will be awesome.

Hrm... This girl is also a veteran and has had quite a bit of experience with people who are loners and others who are quick to violence. I can imagine she'd look at him and go CHALLENGE ACCEPTED and try to be cordial with him at the very least. Definitely respectful, as he's pro-powers, and she'd probably admire that since, in her world, her magic is feared and people hate her for being an elf.

Garrett's a veteran as well, though he's more the type to avoid people and do his own thing. Erik might not like the whole "thief" aspect of him but Garrett gets the job done and done well. And he certainly has an interesting glowing right eye that he uses for certain things. So it could go either way, I think!

Hey, as long as he's not stealing from Erik, it's not even a thing. Plus competency means Garrett takes a level in ....uh, idk, Erik's positive lights. I think if they have a history of being able to work together whether they're like, strictly social or not Erik at least respects him.

Hijikata's a veteran Traveler who's generally about Getting Things Done, though he's also got a samurai sense of honor - he just also has enough pragmatism to know when to shelve it and he can be pretty nasty in the right cases. So he's not always straight up ruthless, more shades of gray. I suspect CR between these two would be a mixed bag of agreeing on some things and not so much on others. :|a

Yesssssss, definitely. To be honest this is a good way to start out any kind of CR with Erik, like I have been saying to virtually everyone who replies with 'my character is competent!' So they have a workable baseline of, at least, respect, I would think.

Erik does have like ...a moral code, it's just very personal, so. I woefully do not know enough about how that looks to a samurai.

Bushido is...probably very uptight in comparison, although Hijikata's sense of honor is also a little more personalized than the standard because he started as a commoner and clawed his way up, so social class isn't a thing for him the way it is for most of his peers and he will cheerfully call out his masters for being wusses. :V

I'm... not actually sure how he and Armin would get along. I think Armin would maybe be a little intimidated by him?

Also omg Armin might ask about the numbers sometime. Because he's observant and curious and also not from Earth.

Aaaand haha yeah, I can't say Erik doesn't, you know, use intimidation as self-defense, so! We'll see where that goes >:}

So basically I feel like these two were in moebius together and both kind of recognized the other's...unfortunate total familiarity with being sliced up on the regular - even though Hado has no scars of any kind, um - and came out of it with a kind of sharp-edged cynical mutual respect. And now they are well-dressed warning-smile definitely-not-buddies.
